Just like the official ones, our Nespresso compatible capsules are roundish single serving aluminium or plastic shells. They contain between 5 and 8 gr of Robusta or Arabica ground coffees or a blend of the two.
The shell prevents the content to come in contact with air and allow the coffee to fully maintain its characteristics.
These types of coffee serving are growing in popularity, thanks to the ease of using Nespresso machines. The “original” Italian method “moka”, is way more industrious and slower as well. The machines are also popular in working environments where they allow employees to take a quick break whenever they want to!
About the coffee machines
Why compatibility is an issue you should also take into account? Well, it’s quite simple: not all capsules work with all of the machines.
Each manufacturer produce its capsules and they differ in their size, weight and coffee amount. Even though some capsules might work on a different brand machine, there’s a chance a different shell might damage the device.
Our capsules are manufactured using a technology that replicates the exact features of the Nespresso-branded ones. They are consequently 100% safe to use in an original Nespresso machine. They won’t be damaging the device and they are perfectly done to fit the system.
Is there a difference between the Nespresso-branded ones and the compatible version?
We know that it is a common misconception to consider a “compatible” product as a “lower level” one, but it really isn’t the case. The real distinctive element is the coffee in them: if it’s a top quality one, you are all set!
Other than the coffee, the shell itself is a perfect copy of the original one. So, the only main variation from the Nespresso branded ones, is the coffee inside them, and obviously there is a price difference as well!
