If you found yourself in the Raval area, look for Bar Marsella on the main street. This place was established in 1820 and, thanks to accurate renovation operations, you can today still enjoy the same décor and furniture of that time.
An aroma of ancient wood permeates the place, bringing you back in time. But you might expect this in an historic Café, don’t you think? You’ll really feel in the 19th century when you look around you and notice ancient furniture, mirrors, decors and the high-ceiling architecture.

The Casa Almirall

This bar is considered the oldest modernist bar in Barcelona, and even if it underwent a few renovations, there is still a lot of the original deco and architecture in it. Once inside you’ll be amazed by its characteristic wooden walls and counter, as well as many other decoration pieces.

The London Bar
You can find the London Bar on the Rambla street, since 1910.
Just like the Bar Marsella, the London Bar had eminent customers such as Picasso, Hemingway and Dalí. Today artists from any kind of craft come here to enjoy a little break and a coffee. This place always offers live music with performers delighting their guests from a stage behind the bar.
The original furniture will take you back to older times, especially thanks to the big mirror at the counter.
The London Bar is a café but it is also considered a pub, where you can order very good food.
